Put your sign-up in the comments of this post by copy-pasting the provided template and adding the information you need. Please make sure you read the rules in the 'rules and information' post.
Some other notes:
- When adding more than the 2 minimum fandoms to the sign-up, simply copy-paste the fandom info sections and keep them within the 'textarea' html tag
- If your comment ends up exceeding Dreamwidth's comment character limit, feel free to split it up and add the next part(s) in a reply to your first comment

As stated on the Rules and Information post, leave a comment on this post if you have any questions about how DW works, about the event itself, if your requests still haven't been posted even 2 days after you've commented on the sign-up post, etc. I'll try to respond as timely as possible, but depending on how things are irl there might be a 1 or 2 days wait.

Welcome to the next round of Umatani Gifting Fest! This is an event in the style of fandomgiftbasket and fandomtrees (participants put up information about the fandoms, ships/characters and mediums they want with DNWs and others drop gifts on the comments of the respective posts, then the mod (me) reveals the comments on the scheduled date), with the catch being that it is mostly focused on fandoms directed under the ‘Umatani’ pseudonym. Those fandoms are:

The ‘Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu’ series (‘Love’, ‘Happy Kiss’ and 'Haikara')
RobiHachi
Fairy Ranmaru
Remote☆Host
Monthly Delusional Magazine/Gekkan Mousou Kagaku

You can request non-Umatani fandoms as well, but with a restriction on the amount.

2026 Schedule:
Sign-ups: May 1st - May 7th
Gift posting: May 2nd - Reveals
Reveals: May 30th (Might be delayed if not everyone has the minimum 2 gifts - at least one of which must be for an Umatani fandom - by this date)

Please take a moment to carefully read the rules/guidelines under the read more. It might be quite a bit of information to take in, but repeatedly failing to follow them will lead to you being removed from the event.
Important note for those coming back from last year's round: Overall, the rules this year are the same as last year's but with a few clarifications to reduce confusion (mainly about how ships are labeled). My goal is to do a little less "hand-holding" this year and be less hesitant to "put the mod hat on". So please make sure you read the rules thoroughly!

Reveals!

Reveals are here! Thank you so much to everyone who made gifts and allowed us to reveal on schedule!

All gifts have been unscreened on Dreamwidth and the AO3 collection has been unhidden. Please make sure you check your request post on DW and not just AO3, as some gifts are not posted on AO3 and the mandatory commenting should be done on DW. (For gifts posted on AO3, you're free to leave a comment there and here just comment something like "I commented on AO3!")

If you find any of your gifts include a DNW, contact me and I'll take care of it ASAP.

If you've had some gift you were working on but couldn't finish on time, don't worry! You can still post those as well!

Also, screening has been turned off on all request posts, so you should be able to track and get notified of any post-reveals gifts! (If you do, please remember to comment on those as well.)

As a reminder, reveals will be delayed if not everyone who has requested at least 2 fandoms has at least 2 gifts, one of which being for an Umatani fandom. The spreadsheet includes the current count of gifts for each person who has signed-up.

As mentioned in the Information post, here's a post where you can ask questions and give any general feedback for the event! If there's anything you want clarification on, just drop a comment! Anonymous and logged-out comments are allowed.

Right now, I'd also like to hear feedback on the info post! Is everything communicated clearly? Do you have any suggestions for improving the way info is communicated or how it's organized?

Also, if you're not super familiar with this kind of event, I recommend looking through the fandomgiftbasket and fandomtrees communities to see what it looks like "in action"!

(The sign-up template will be in the actual Sign-up Post that will be up closer to when those open, but here it is on this post as well just so you know what to expect:)
